About Us

The American Friends of Sufi Arts, Culture and Knowledge (AFSACK) ™ is a non-profit organization committed to increasing philanthropic support, public awareness, and engagement in the United States with Sufi cultural and educational institutions abroad.

Since its establishment in November 2019, AFSACK has focused its support on the forthcoming Musée d’Art et de Culture Soufis MTO (MACS MTO), the first of its kind, scheduled to open in 2024 in Chatou, France, just off the historic Île des Impressionnistes 9 km outside Paris. In addition to its support for Musée d’Art et de Culture Soufis MTO, AFSACK maintains broad support of cultural and educational programs engaging Sufism, including offering grants for professional research and sponsorship of academic conferences. Beyond financial support, AFSACK raises awareness and provides opportunities for engagement with Sufism through its diverse educational and cultural events and programming. Through these efforts, its ambition is to make the beauty of Sufi arts, culture, and knowledge accessible to all.
